If
you are in Israel during the winter (January and February) and you love skiing and snowboarding don’t miss Mount Hermon.
This is the perfect destination for ski lovers but also for families that want to spend time together and enjoy the snow, there is also a ski school for all ages.
This Mount is only three and a half hours by car from Tel Aviv, but it worth the travel.
If you want to spend more days in this area don’t miss
- The Nimrod Fortress the Middle Ages largest castle remaining in Israel, The castle panorama is breathtaking overlooking to the Golan Heights and Syria (adults 21 BIS and children 9 NIS – 04-6949277)
- Eat-in a Druse village in the area (soon I’ll post an article about this topic)
Tips
- Be aware of the weather before you decide to go there for the weather forecast click here: https://www.skihermon.co.il/en/snow-forecast/, The resort & facilities are getting open according to weather conditions
