I had been on many beaches all around the world but the Israeli beaches and the Tel Aviv coastline remain always (for me) the best, most of the beaches have the following facilities :
- Clean and accessible bathrooms
- Outdoor showers with cold and hot water
- Cabins with showers and changing rooms
- Rental of sun loungers, chairs, umbrellas, and tables
- Every beach has its restaurant and waiters go around among the sunbeds
- Outdoor sports facilities lit up at night
- Playgrounds on the beach for the little ones
- Facilities for water sports such as surfing, rowing, and diving.
- Areas designated for “matkot” players – away from bathers
- Appropriate areas for dogs
- Free Wi-Fi
- Luggage storage
- Shaded areas
- All declared beaches have lifeguards who do not work all year round
- One must be aware of the meaning of the colors of the flag that describes the sea conditions: Blue or white: the sea is calm, Red: you can swim but the sea is not calm with strong currents, Black: the sea is too dangerous to swim.
- There are a few beaches where it is possible to park. It is more convenient to arrive on foot or by taxi or by bus, but if you have to park on the seafront keep in mind that it is very expensive, it is better to go away a little and park towards Via Ben Yehud
Below you have a list of all the beaches each of which has a list of its facilities – The order of the beaches is from north to south (in the map they are marked with red):

This is my favorite beach. It takes its name from the adjacent streets that reach the beach and if you follow them you will arrive at the center of Tel Aviv, nearby you will also find the famous “Gordon” swimming pool and the marina where you can rent a yacht for a couple of hours. Most of the hotels are located in this part of the promenade, this is the main reason why these beaches are full of tourists (French, Italian, etc.)
